Yes, it’s another Friday but we are doing it right – with breakfast at 8am, followed by a lazy morning and a quick trip to the hairdresser, before taking the kids to school. After that, it’s a lovely lovely sunny afternoon spent with our friends, who are here in Dublin for a few days. We haven’t seen them in a year so it’s lovely to see them and catch up. Then it’s home for supper with the kids, bath time and bedtime. It’s a perfect life.

And so, before I go to dreamland, I wanted to share some photos of the day with you. I had gotten up really early so that I could spend time with my parents, and then had some time to myself before the kids woke up. As you can see from the photos, it was a very beautiful day and I enjoyed it. (I know they say not to let the camera out of sight when you are out in nature, but I’m not so touchy-feely about things like that.)

More photos to come. I have some lovely photos from my recent trip to the Aran Islands, which I’ll share with you next.

Great photos, Sarah!I have been doing a lot of reading about the Aran Islands over the last few days. It seems like such a lovely place and I can’t wait to go there one day. Keep up the good work with the blog.Gail

Hi Sarah…i’m so sorry for the delay in commenting. i just discovered your site and i enjoy it. I’m so glad to hear about your trip to Aran! I took my kids to the islands several years ago and it was amazing. Oh, and it’s a very family-friendly island (and no, we didn’t have any problem finding a parking place).

I’m so happy to hear about your trip! I’ve been wanting to go back there for years. I was there
