I am so tired! I am getting older, and I am tired. I spent the last few days in the port and did not have access to the internet or electricity. It was a rainy, windy and cold weekend. The weather was not my friend. This is going to be a long post, but I am going to tell you everything.
Let me start with the good stuff first. The ship’s Wi-Fi, as you can imagine, was spotty. But I had my own laptop, and we did make a few blog posts with WordPress. I was able to tweet out a few ideas, and although I was disconnected a few times, I still was able to manage. I even had to book a cab a few times. (I am very grateful to the cab company for taking me to where I was going instead of the ship.)
I must say that the first day on the ship was not a good one. We were not allowed on board until about 2 p.m. You have to know that I usually arrive at the port before 5 a.m. so that I can make the most of the day, but my flight left at 1 p.m. So I had to walk around from the port to the ship for over an hour, but I was happy to finally be on board and having a nice lunch.
So we were allowed to board the ship. The second day was very similar to the first. However, the third day was a different story.

These will be such a busy month next month and I am so excited for the birth of my baby (which is tomorrow), I want to do lots of crafty stuff… for my baby!
Firstly I thought I’d show you this cute baby card that I got from My Melody Stamps, it’s so cute! I used their image – the Fabulous Flowers for the base.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and coloured the little butterfly with my Prismacolor pencils. The embossed swirl is from a Tonic Fold card die.
The big blank space was filled with a drawn background using my pen and then I added a sentiment to the top. This is then finished with some lovely gloss pads and a bottle of rub-on acrylic paint.
I have also a card to share with you which is a mini canvas. I’ve had this image in my box for a while and thought it would be a great canvas to work with, and it’s so easy to make! All you need is some canvas, Promarkers, ink pads, brush pens, a little bit of Distress Ink (circles, splatter, scribble, distress) and you’re done!
I started by inking up my canvas using lots of different ink pads.
I then made some background shapes using a splatter brush pen and colour them in.
