Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.
Workbench: The user interface of AutoCAD is divided into the Workbench, a user-friendly, 2D/3D drawing workspace, and the Palettes, a user interface that includes predefined tool palettes (clicking on a tool in a palette brings up the dialog box for setting tool properties). A flexible toolbar is available in the drawing area, which includes a menu (File →), tool palettes (Tool Palette →), and a 3D View (View →).
Tools: AutoCAD includes a number of tools and filters that are used to create and manipulate 2D and 3D drawings.
AutoCAD can place and modify complex geometric objects.
An array is an ordered collection of objects. You can edit, select, or change the order of the elements in an array.
A boolean variable can only have two values: true or false. When the value is true, the variable is true; when the value is false, the variable is false.
A shape is a geometric object that represents a two-dimensional closed area.
A curve is an irregular closed curve. The intersection points of a curve with the X and Y axes are called the control points. You can manually define, edit, and edit the control points of a curve.
An AutoCAD dimension is a combination of text and numbers that can measure lengths, widths, heights, volumes, and angles.
A drawing is a 2D or 3D geometric object. You can draw lines, points, arcs, rectangles, circles, and surfaces, as well as text, annotations, dimensions, and other objects.
An AutoCAD extent is a set of two numbers that describes the area of a drawing in a two-dimensional (2D) space. For example, the full area of a line is represented by a 2D extent that includes the endpoints of the line.
A line is the most basic geometric object.
A marker is an irregular closed line. You can create new markers or edit existing markers. You can place markers on the drawing canvas.
A matrix is a set of four numbers (positive integers) that is used to scale the drawing. You can manually or automatically scale a drawing.
Autodesk Exchange Apps is an online marketplace of add-on applications for AutoCAD. AutoCAD Exchange Apps includes AutoCAD 3D Drawings, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Electrical, Construction Apps, Electrical, Utility, MEP, RV/MH, 3D CAD & BIM, Environmental & Water, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Power, Design & Technology, Virtual Design Center, and Other Add-on Applications. Many of the applications available in the Exchange Apps are extensions of AutoCAD functionality. Many developers who have developed AutoCAD add-on applications have chosen to use Exchange Apps rather than to sell them to Autodesk. They can distribute their applications through Autodesk Exchange Apps, which has an inventory of millions of registered users.
Books and courses
Autodesk Alumni magazine
Autodesk University (AU) is Autodesk’s online learning platform. Each year, Autodesk University hosts more than 300 free courses for Autodesk Certified and certified products users in the topics of architecture, engineering, drafting, and design. The courses span the gamut of Autodesk’s software line, covering AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Software Architect, Revit, and others. The courses are available through a web browser, smartphones, tablets, and on the go through the Autodesk mobile app. Students learn skills using resources and support from the Autodesk team, and actively engage in discussions and peer review. The Online Education Team is also available to help users of Autodesk products connect with peers, instructors, and Autodesk staff.
Autodesk University also offers free webinars for specific topics, and publishes articles for those who may want to learn about their software without the need to sign up. It also hosts YouTube channels that provide tutorials, interviews, and videos for users of the company’s software products.

Razor split command in file
I want to place some multi-line Razor code in a separate file and call it when needed. The following shows the desired layout:
In reality, I would put @Model in there, etc.
Is this possible? How can I do that?
var bodyContent = Html.RenderPartial(“~/Views/Shared/Some-Class.cshtml”, Model);
var result = bodyContent.ToString();

A video showing a female truck driver yelling at a group of youngsters hanging out in an Edmonton park has gone viral.
The video shows the truck driver pulling up to the kids, getting out of the cab, and arguing with them.

She appears to be telling the kids to get off the property and leave them alone.
One of the boys in the video then approaches her and they can be heard arguing.
At one point, the truck driver pulls out a gun, or a screwdriver, and throws it at one of the kids.
She then gets back in the cab and leaves.

The city said they are aware of the incident, and working with the RCMP and the Edmonton Police Service to investigate.
“Based on our investigation to date, it is unlikely that a parking enforcement violation occurred,” a spokesperson said. “At the same time, this individual is not a city employee and we are looking into this matter to see if we can do anything to help the individual.”
