What is AutoCAD?
As the title implies, AutoCAD is a CAD application that can draw and design anything you want. It’s very easy to use, but don’t be fooled: AutoCAD is as powerful as a full CAD suite or a professional designer. The program comes with a standard set of features, including:
Exporting to DWG, DXF, and SVG.
AutoCAD has been the top-selling CAD program since 1994. A number of new features were introduced in each AutoCAD release:
The following is a timeline of major AutoCAD releases:
AutoCAD was introduced in December 1982 as the first desktop CAD application.
A large CAD team was assembled by Autodesk’s senior director of marketing, Tom Myers, whose main task was to attract AutoCAD users from the other major CAD vendors.
AutoCAD was renamed to AutoCAD Raster Image Processor.
AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT were introduced as upgrades for microcomputers and workstations that had one of the original AutoCAD tools.
AutoCAD LT was introduced for the IBM PC compatible platform.
AutoCAD VESTA was introduced as an upgrade for microcomputers that had Raster Image Processor.
AutoCAD VTX was introduced to graphically build 3D models.
AutoCAD was integrated into Microsoft’s Windows for the very first time.
Autodesk’s founding president and CEO John Tannenbaum was chosen as AutoCAD’s first marketing chief.
AutoCAD was made available on the Apple Macintosh platform.
AutoCAD was brought to the PS/2 platform.
Autodesk acquired a professional services company, Material Systems Corp., for $1.5 million, primarily to support the newly introduced AutoCAD LT.
Pro/Engineer was introduced, the first full-featured engineering/CAD package available on the desktop platform.
Student Design Center (SDC)
The Student Design Center is a tool and resource designed for teachers and students of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) design. It includes tools and content aimed to be useful for teacher and student learning of architectural design principles and processes.
SDC is free, and is available for Windows, macOS, and web. SDC includes tools to guide students through the design process for an entire project, with tools to export the design for a concept rendering. SDC also includes an extensive library of AEC resources, and many animations to teach design principles.
Other features include:
access to the company’s U.S. copyright portfolio of CAD-based software, images, and digital objects
access to construction specifications
access to the company’s Architecture Visualizer
access to reference materials from the company’s repositories of content and resources.

Now open the folder where you downloaded the keygen and double click on it to open it in the Autocad application. It will automatically start the installation and then install the necessary Autocad version according to your version. You will receive the message “Installation successful” once the installation is complete.

Save time by annotating your drawings to facilitate project collaboration. Annotate drawings with objects, text, arrows, and circle links directly within AutoCAD, without the need to export to an external annotation tool or website.
Draw walls faster and more accurately, as you’re prompted to segment them as you draw. When you’re finished drawing, simply tap to show the walls to move, and view the segmented walls in your drawing.
Make it easier to draw circles and ellipses using the new editable 3D orbit and rotate tools. Draw circles, ellipses, and spline curves with a single command. (video: 3:05 min.)
Work faster with shared drawings. View and annotate others’ drawings in a shared drawing, along with comments and feedback. Comments, including file version information, appear in a ribbon at the bottom of the drawing. AutoCAD can switch between a read-only and a read-write mode for collaboration. (video: 1:40 min.)
A new dashboard provides extensive, real-time feedback on system performance and alert you to frequent activities that can cause bottlenecks in your designs.
Share and access documents, and your designs and drawings, on the cloud. Create new projects and layers on the web, or access them from any device. (video: 1:55 min.)
Advanced collaboration on your designs, with time management and workflows. Coordinate with team members on drawings and activities with improved team organization, status reporting, and built-in mobile sharing. The collaborative change tracking and sharing tools help team members stay on track and complete work quickly and effectively. (video: 1:48 min.)
Go beyond simple text messages. Create messages that use location information, drawing annotations, or annotations on objects. Capture and save messages to share them easily and build automated responses that can be automatically triggered from messages. (video: 1:54 min.)
Streamline how you get work done. Use real-time automatic prompts to improve efficiency with your design processes, complete drawings faster, and avoid errors with intelligent suggestions and guidance. (video: 1:55 min.)
Work together from any device. Use iOS and Android apps to share drawings with mobile devices or PC tablets, including individual users or groups. Get real-time notification and updates about comments, changes, and drawings, including
